Mr. Mezer will explain the issues surrounding foreclosures and abandonments and describe the processes our CDD’s, HOA’s and CA’s must navigate to deal with these issues.
Mr. Mezer is a member of the Bush/Ross legal practice in Tampa. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1974 from University of Miami and his J.D. from Stetson University in 1977. Mr. Mezer’s bar admissions allow him to practice in Florida and Washington D.C. as well as the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the US Court of appeals for the 5th and 11th circuits.
Mr. Mezer has built one of the largest and most successful practices dedicated to serving the unique needs of homeowners’ associations and condominium associations in Florida.Mr. Mezer is:
- Board certified in real estate law by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education
- Vice Chair and Secretary of the Condominium and Planned Development Law Committee and Community Associations Subcommittee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar
- A member of the Real Property Section and Homeowners Association Law Subcommittee of the American Bar Association
- A member of the Executive Council of the Real Property Section of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar, and the Community Associations Institute, Suncoast Chapter where he has served as Director, Education Chairman and President
- An Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College where he has taught condominium association law
